Description

People in all manner of dress enjoying the beach at Biddeford Pool, 1909. The homes and Life Saving Station in the area of Ocean Avenue can be seen in the background; this is the side of the Pool that faces towards Fortune's Rocks and Cape Porpoise. Women and men in bathing dress, ladies strolling arm in arm, and others in more formal dress and with parasols can be seen enjoying a lovely summer day at the sea shore.
