Description

Local farmers sold hay in two forms: pressed it into bales, or loose. Loose hay was weighed on hay scales like those shown at left in the photograph. Alfred Titcomb was a North Yarmouth farmer.

Falmouth Corner is the intersection of Bucknam Road and Route 9 (Hallowell Road) in Falmouth.
