Description
The Turner Railroad maintained and housed their railroad cars in a building in Turner Village. The picture shows it was a sizable 2 1/2 story wood frame building. There were two tracks for car storage, one being provided with a pit, and the structure also contained an office, a waiting room and storeroom. The storage battery was housed in a separate building nearby. Indications are that the car barn wasn't ready for occupancy until late November and that the railway's cars had to be stored outdoors for a time.
