Description

This three story building in Turner Village was built by Howard A. Roberts in 1895. The first business to occupy it was a harness shop. The lowest level was a garage where local men played pool and cards. Over the years, it had varied uses including a car showroom, grocery store, antique shop and a fabric store. Most recently it was home to Nezinscot Guild. In the fall of 2009, it was razed for safety reasons. The people with numbers under their picture are named, the other two are not named. 1. Harold Bradford, 2. Walter Fuller, 3. Fred Farnum, 4. Barbara Sanders.
