Description

A well dressed audience in foreground is entertained by musicians on a stage at the back of the garden. The event at the home of Mrs. George Clough was organized to raise funds for the Memorial Window in the Blue Hill Town Hall. The musicians include cellist Wulf Fries, an early member of the summer music colony on Parker Point that led to establishment of Kneisel Hall, a summer school for aspiring chamber music performers. Kneisel Hall continues to bring students and concerts to Blue Hill each summer.
