This postcard photograph shows a large crowd of people with horses and carriages and early motor vehicles in front of the First Baptist Church of Paris. Written in white letters are the words,"Hamlin Memorial exercises, Paris Hill, Me." A speaker's platform is in front of the church draped with bunting. The white building which can be seen to the right in the picture is Admiral Lyon's house.
