Cornelia and Anne Whittier, daughters of Nancy Pierce (1834-1893) and Edward N. Whittier (1834-1902), portrayed in a hand-made, heart-shaped card, dated Dec. 25, 1891.
Edward Whittier was a physician in Boston and taught medicine. Nancy Pierce Whittier was the daughter of Josiah and Evelina Lewis Pierce of Gorham.
