Description

Thomas Cutts had this attractive home built at 350 Main Street, Saco for his daughter Eunice and her husband, Dr. Samuel Nye, to entice them back from Boston around the time of the War of 1812. Two of the Nye's unwed daughters lived in poverty here until their deaths around 1890. Later the house was moved to Clark Street, where it became an apartment building. York Manufacturing Company built a home for their agent on the Main Street lot.
