Description

Presque Isle young men build a frame for transporting the 70-foot white spruce that was to become the National Christmas tree for the Christmas Pageant of Peace in Washington, D.C. in 1959.

The tree was from the farm of Alice Kimball, Parson Road, Presque Isle.
