D. L. Moody with crow, Alfred, 1935

Description

D. L. Moody, superintendent of the Alfred Camp Civilian Conservation Corps facility, with a crow that appeared in several photographs of the CCC camp. Personnel at the camp named the crow "Jim."

The Maine Forest Service operated the camp that focused on tree insect and disease control.
