Description

The highest point of land at Good Will Farm in Fairfield is marked by a stone monument with a plaque that reads, "The End of the the Trail."

A group of what might be Good Will Farm employees pose at the monument on July 19, 1928.

The three Murray Tablets are named for "Adirondack Murray," William Henry Harrison Murray (1840-1904), whose ideas about the health and spiritual benefits of the outdoors affected Good Will Farm founded George W. Hinckley.

Hinckley considered Murray very influential in his life. One of the tablets has a brief biography of Murray on it.

The Murray tablets were dedicated Sept. 16, 1920.
