Description

Hannah Pierce (1788-1873) of Baldwin wrote to her brother Josiah Pierce (1792-1866) of Gorham a little more than a month before his death, discussing some of the elements of her will for him to share with his son Lewis, who was taking over her business affairs.

She expressed concern about Josiah's health and sent wishes for his recovery.
