Description

A sketch of house type "Y" at Quoddy Village, a community created for workers at the Passamaquoddy Bay Tidal Power Development in Eastport.

The project, which began in 1935, ended a year later when Congress failed to allocate additional funds.

The permanent housing was for officials of the project. Temporary housing also was planned for the site.
