An image of the dairy operations at the Maine State Sanatorium at Greenwood Mountain in Hebron, part of a promotional pamphlet about the tuberculosis-treatment facility.

The sanatorium had 25 dairy cows, a silo for corn, a creamery, and a 325-acre farm that produced the fruit and vegetables for the facility.

The Maine State Sanatorium, which operated the facility, was incorporated in 1901. The state took over operations in 1915.
