Description

In 1925 the National Geographic Society sponsored an expedition led by Donald B. MacMillan to explore the territory between Alaska and the Pole and northwest of Axel Heiberg Island.

The expedition gathered in Wiscasset with the ships the Bowdoin and the Peary.
