Description

Hermon School Number 13, the Webber School or New Boston Road School, was built prior to 1897. Electricity was installed at this one-room school in the mid-1930's and the building was used until 1951. It has been turned into a home and is still in use.

It is one of the 14 original 1st - 8th grade schools, each of which was supported by its own district in what is now the town of Hermon. The early schoolhouses were replaced in 1951 by the new Hermon Elementary School building.
