Description

An unidentified artist produced this watercolor silhouette of Alexander Wadsworth Longfellow (1814-1901), brother of noted poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, about 1825.

He was the son of Stephen and Zilpah Wadsworth Longfellow and became a cartographer.
