Description

Louise H. Coburn founded the Eunice Farnsworth Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution on January 13, 1898 at her home in Skowhegan.

She served as the chapter's first Regent, an office she held for two years. A noted local author, she wrote Skowhegan on the Kennebec (1941) and created the Skowhegan History House.
