Description

The downtown of Livermore Falls along Main Street is shown in 1937. At left is a sign for a Rexall Drug Store. Upstairs in the building at left is George R. Grna, lawyer; and, among the businesses to the right are J. Guy Coolidge Dry Goods and L.L. Waite, news dealer. The building with the clock tower is known as the "Bank Building."

Maine Central Railroad tracks run across the main street. Beyond the tracks, on the right, is "Light and Power Service," which may be a Central Maine Power Co. store.
