White Cap Mountain fire lookout camp

Description

The Forest Service fire watchman's camp at White Cap Mountain.

A fire lookout tower was first built at White cap in 1906. The wood tower was rebuilt in 1940, then replaced in 1920 with a 24-foot steel tower.

The lookout tower is at 3,707 feet.
