The new Forest Service fire lookout tower at Depot Mountain in about 1920, with the old tower just visible to the left.
The original wood tower was built in 1909.
The new steel tower was built in 1914. It is 60-feet high and built at an elevation of 1,300 feet.
It is one of the towers that looks into Canada.
