J. P. Chadbourne homestead in East Baldwin, ca. 1949

Description

This house in East Baldwin was built by Josiah Pierce Chadbourne, eldest son of Joshua Chadbourne, as a wedding present for his son, Joseph Chadbourne. Joseph married Emma Douglas in 1883. This house later became Riley's Ice Cream Parlor and post office. The postcard is postmarked 1949.
