Description

A medal bearing the image of Thomas Brackett Reed, a popular and powerful politician who served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1876-1899 and was speaker of the House from 1889-1891 and 1895-1899.

The medal was a commemoration of the dedication of the Reed statue on the Western Promenade August 31, 1910.
