Eclipse train trip flyer, 1932

Contributed by Maine Historical Society

A special train went from various stations around Maine to Fryeburg on August 31, 1932, for viewing of an eclipse. Fryeburg was thought to be the best place to see the eclipse, where there would be the least chance of cloudy skies.
