Description

Improved Order of Red Men membership charter. This fraternal organization had tribes in Fryeburg and across the state and country. The organization still operates.

The organization began under the name "Red Men" in 1813 and has Freedom, Friendship and Charity as its primary goals. The Order used many themes and objects related to Native American culture.
