Ketlands Company Flintlock, ca. 1810

Description

This English import "long fowler" is a smooth bore flintlock hunting gun that was converted to percussion cap in the 1830's. The gun has a hard forgen barrel and parts. A versatile hunting gun, it used a round ball for large game and shot for small game. XXXVIIII is filed on the bottom of the barrel.
