Description

Charles Sleeper (1856-1924), a graduate of Bowdoin College Medical School, practiced medicine in South Berwick until 1916 when he was appointed Collector of the Port of Portland by President Wilson.

A Democrat, Sleeper was a member of the 75th Legislature, and a member of the Council of Governor Curtis.
