Description

A map of the country explored in the years 1817 & 1818 : by order of the commissioners under the 5th Article of the Treaty of Ghent, showing rivers along the northern boundary of Maine. This map is part of the Thomas Barclay collection. Thomas Barclay served as the British Commissioner for many treaties surrounding the disputed boundaries between the United States and Canada.
