Description

This big, old building housed the former high school in Norridgewock. This is a view from Upper Main Street.

In 1866, the people of Norridgewock raised money to build the Eaton School. It had no grades and specialized in science and language. The first four pupils graduated in 1870.

The building burned in 1945. It was located at the site of the current Skowhegan Savings Bank.
