Description
Abbot Village had an Agricultural Fair for several years which was the highlight of the residents summer. Held at various locations in and around the village this photo is dated 1921 and shows the ladies in their hats and best dress and the men in suits. There were competitons for fancy needle work, live stock and a steam driven merry go round for the children, among many other displays and socializing as people looked forward to the Abbot Fair.
