Water flowing over Pejepscot Dam, Topsham, 1896

Description

A view taken from the ledge on the southeast corner of the Pejepscot Paper Co. on November 7, 1896. The dam is on the Androscoggin River in Topsham. The back of the photograph notes that the elevation of the water is 68'2" above the dam and 47'9" below the dam. The total head and fall is 20'5".
