Description
The December 15th, 1936 edition of the Portland Evening Express included the humorous article, "Famous Names on Public School Lists Make Known Their Wants to Santa." Joan Bennett, also the name of the film actress, was pictured writing her Santa wish list with her doll. This Joan, from Portland's Heseltine School, wanted a manicure set.
