Description

This John Dunn photo was taken in the Moosehead Lake region of Maine in September 1883. “Dr. Jack,” a frequent hunting companion of Dunn’s, displays a string of ruffed grouse bagged during a successful day afield in the Maine woods in the late 19th century.
