Description

This is a view of the Rockland Harbor looking east to Penobscot Bay from Main Street in Rockland. The wharves in the foreground are probably those of the Jones Lumberyard, owned by Nathaniel Jones in 1877. The small sailboats and schooner beside the wharves are beached because of the low tide.
